Create projects from folder templates in one click; the project dashboard shows the state and revision of every file in the top-level assembly and whether its PDF/DXF/STEP outputs are up to date, and lets you generate the missing ones. With the Projects tab in the SOLIDWORKS Task Pane, designers work directly inside the active project.

Common questions about ProjectHub.
Does ProjectHub need an extra server?
No. ProjectHub is added to the vault with the PDM+ add-in, and the required SQL connection is configured in the UI. Settings are stored in the vault and distributed to every client automatically.
Which outputs does the project dashboard track?
It shows whether PDF, DXF and STEP outputs are up to date, outdated or missing compared with the source file, and you can regenerate missing or outdated outputs from the dashboard.
Can designers work on a project without leaving SOLIDWORKS?
Yes. In the Projects tab of the Task Pane they select the active project, browse the project tree, create new files with project numbering and check files in and out.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. PDM+ runs free with every product for 15 days from the moment it is added to the vault; no credit card required.
How is PDM+ installed?
Your PDM administrator adds the PDM+ add-in to the vault once using the SOLIDWORKS PDM Administration tool. The add-in and its settings are distributed from the vault to every client automatically — nothing needs to be installed on individual workstations.
How is it priced?
PDM+ products are licensed annually per vault, regardless of the number of users. The license is bound to the vault and stored in it, so every client uses the same license.

SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional 2021 and later.
